The mission of Mansfield ISD Library Services is to provide welcoming spaces promoting literacy and self-directed learning exploration for all.

Mansfield ISD has policies in place to allow our parents to control the library materials available to their student.

All parents in Mansfield ISD have the ability to receive circulation emails when their student visits the library. To request circulation emails, please complete Parent Request for E-mail Notification form.

• Monday - Friday 6:55 am - 3:10 pm

Printing Policy

• Students must submit their items to print. Items will be printed the last 10 minutes of each class period and can be picked up between periods. 
• B/W prints are free if it is for school use. Color prints are $1 per page. B/W prints for personal use are $.10 per page. Fines will be added to the student's Skyward account. We do not accept cash.

Library Learning Commons Policies

Checking Out Books

• Students must use their ID to check out a book.
• Students may check out up to 5 books at one time.
• Items are loaned for 3 weeks.
• Books not returned after an extended period of time will be marked lost and a fine for the cost of the book will be added to their Skyward account.

Independent Use

• Students must wear their ID and bring a pass during instructional time
• If a class has scheduled the library they will be prioritized for computer access and space

Whole Classes

• reservations are required
• priority access to computers and seating are secured

Computer policies

• Computer use must follow guidelines set out by MISD policy
