Updated Information about Procedures for the 2022-2023 School Year

Student IDs

IDs will be required at all times. Beginning on the first day of school, students will not be allowed to enter the building without a current school-issued ID. Students who attended in-person registration have already received their 2022-23 IDs. We will be making IDs for all students who do not have a 2022-23 ID before they enter the building on the first day of school. Our doors unlock at 6:55 am each morning. Students who need a 2022-23 ID should arrive at school as close to 6:55 as possible because there will be a line of students waiting to get their IDs made outside on the first day of school. Each student receives one free ID per year. Each additional ID costs $5.

Entrances

Students who ride a bus will enter the building in the back of the building at the commons door. All other students must enter through the front door at the main entrance. All other doors will be locked and monitored. Disciplinary consequences will be issued to any student who enters the building through another doorway and to any student who opens any entrance for another person.

Tardiness

Our doors open at 6:55 am daily and our first classes begin at 7:25. Students must be in 1st and 5th period classrooms no later than 7:25 daily. Students who arrive late will be required to check in at the Attendance Office before they will be allowed in their classrooms. Students who are late to school and/or class will be at risk of disciplinary consequences and losing credit for the course. Traffic is a daily issue at each campus, but students are expected to plan ahead. Students who arrive late to school should adjust their morning schedule at home so that they leave for school earlier.

No Food/Meal Deliveries

Food/Meal/Gift deliveries (Door Dash, Uber Eats, Tiff’s treats, Chick-Fil-A delivery, etc.) are not allowed. Food/Meal/Gift delivery drivers will not be allowed in the building.

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications

The congressional waiver that allowed free school meals for all students during the pandemic has expired. For the 2022-23 school year, families who are eligible for free or reduced-priced meals must complete a meal application. Students eligible for free meals will receive meals at no cost. Students who are eligible for reduced meal pricing will pay $0.40 for lunch and $0.30 for breakfast. That's no change from the previous year. Students purchasing full-cost meals will pay an increase ranging from $0.50 to $0.75 per meal.

Advisory/Bell Schedule

Advisory will be a separate class (9th period) on your schedule this year. Attendance is required and will be recorded in Skyward daily. Because Advisory is a separate class, our bell schedule is slightly different this year. Please refer to our About Us page for more information and a detailed bell schedule.
